In a Press Release, The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission in its Notification No.17/2022 dated 28.07.2022 had invited applications for selection of candidates for appointment by direct recruitment to the posts of Vocational Counsellor in Medical Education Department included in the Tamil Nadu Medical Subordinate Service and Community Officer in Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board included in the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board Community Development Service. The Written examination was held on 12.11.2022 F.N. & A.N. / 13.11.2022 A.N. and results published on 15.02.2023.

2) In order to fill up the 5 and 11 vacancies for the posts of Vocational Counsellor and Community Officer respectively, the candidates were
summoned for the Physical Certificate Verification and Counselling in the ratio of 1:3. The Physical Certificate Verification and Counselling had been conducted on 30.03.2023 at the O/o. Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission.

3) All the 16 vacancies i.e, 5 vacancies for the post of Vocational Counsellor and 11 vacancies for the post of Community Officer have been filled up. The reservation category wise details of filled vacancies are available in the Commission’s website (www.tnpsc.gov.in), said in release.
